El Vigilante plantea una pregunta: ¿Cambia nuestro movimiento cuando nos sentimos acechadas, observadas o seguidas? Hecha de espejos y hierro, esta escultura simboliza el estado de alerta que adoptan las mujeres cuando caminan solas por la calle. Tanto si nos siguen como si no, la vigilancia se arraiga en nosotras, una manifestación de nuestro estado mental y de nuestros cuerpos que existen en un perpetuo estado de miedo. Esta pieza fue interpretada por Luz Gutierrez Privat y Joelle Gruenberg.

The Vigilant raises a question: Does our movement change when we feel stalked, stared at, or followed? Made from iron mirrors, this sculpture symbolizes the heightened state of alertness women adopt when walking alone at night. Whether being followed or not, the vigilant becomes ingrained in us- a manifestation of our state of mind and our bodies existing in a perpetual state of fear. This piece was performed by Luz Gutierrez Privat and Joelle Gruenberg.
