Este Proyecto y Autorretrato 2 son trabajados en paralelo, en ellos exploro la idea de opuestos Autorretrato1 habla del desborde y el descontrol. Utilizo una "piel" hecha de resina de un cuerpo obeso. Coloco pantis rellenas de algodón entre mi cuerpo y la coraza.
Las pantis se perciben como una especie de vísceras expuestas o formas grotescas. En donde el contenedor, la piel, no puede contenerlas.

I started this project at the same time as Self-Portrait 2, to explore contrasting feelings. In Self-Portrait 1 I wanted to talk about excess, overflow or chaos. I used a resin cast of an obese body, and filled it with cotton filled stockings.
The body become grotesque, where the container (the skin) cannot contain the body anymore.
